My last morning in Morocco. Had my last breakfast with the group early that morning. After breakfast Bronwyn and I went back to our room to get our gear as we were the first ones that had to leave for the airport that morning. We all met in the lobby to say our goodbyes and more picture taking. I have included a couple that Margaret and Helen were nice enough to send me. Believe me, one of the first things I pack on my next trip will be my converter.
It was hard saying goodbye t...

Again we started early, this time we were taking a bus excursion to Tangiers, Morocco. The bus took us past Gibraltar to the Spanish Port at the City of Tarifa, which is the southern most tip of Europe, then onto a fast ferry for a 30minute trip to Morocco. A tour guide and a bus picked us up at the port and we started our tour. We were driven through expensive neighborhoods where millionaires and wealthy Saudi and Kuwaiti princes live. After a drive along the Atlantic Ocean (Firs...

After our nice morning in Chefchaouen we travelled the very winding roads through and across the Rif Mtns arriving in the bustling port city of Tangier. It is hard for the tour guides and driver as they are not familiar with the city and therefore we had a stressfull drive round the "scenic" route to find our Hotel Shallah ...very nice...I say this because my room mate, Helen, and I were upgraded to a suite! Rebecca and Jade also stayed in a suite as there were no more twin ...

And then today came... I knew it was coming and I was not excited to go. There were so many other places to see and go, but myself and another friend had to get back to Spain, as we were both flying out of Barcelona in a couple days. So we said goodbye to our other 2 friends and took a train to Tangiers and then boarded a ferry back to Spain and watching our last Moroccan sunset from the deck. Of course, our journey back was far from over, we still had to take a train, to a&...
