If you're in El Nido, which you should visit if you are travelling to Palawan, be sure to stay at Tandikan Cottages. Each cottage has a porch in front and sits right on the beach. The view is spectacular. The rooms are spacious and clean. There are mosquito nets, bedding and towels included. Will cost 500 pesos, which is £5.50....so cheap.
