Entrance gate from India to Burma, Jan 08, 2010

The name of town Tamu is funny for meaning,In English you have chance that One time to get drunk,no more One cause of there traditional alcohol is so strong,One sip is great dream,So if you are in there you sip one of local hard juice.

And that is in future Burma tourism, will be famous and travelers get through from there Moreah India border town to Tamu Burma border town, there cross the bridge paint white and black color ,black side for Burma. The bridge across over the name of Laugh creek is border mark of nature. There Laugh creek ,once many smugglers and black merchant use across there Laugh creek and they run their business unofficial way, that is no more border tax and import and export goods from there .

The beginning of bridge of Laugh is once in English platoon cross there in 1925/26,Platoon leader name is Colonel Sir Willam Verwood, and his group frp, Manipur to Burma for 5 days trek .On 1942,The British Army used that way to retreat from Burma to India when the Japanese occupied Burma. At that time theyEnglish use the elephants to make the way.On 1945,The british reattacked to Burma and make the road by Bulldozer and They arrived back Burma and at the present The road is heritage of British army present part of Burma.

But they are not the first man for that road, cause of when 16 century, our great king name is Ba yint naung(in english Brother of the king),used that way to attack Manipure state to put his Great kingdom. That is our second biggest empior of Burma history.

There Manipur, until Burma king rule 1812,and at that time of 1812,one of state king of Manipure against Burma king ,so The king send his royal troop to Manipur and use that way.So English is not the first one for that kind of road to india.

Right now, that way will be famous among the travelers who want to visit Burma from India,
