Rainforest Skywalk @ Mt Tamborine Jul 18, 2010
Located in the amazing rainforest, this is the perfect place for exploring the beautiful nature.

Besides the wonderful vegetation and geography of the area, the highlight here is the 300m steel structured bridge through the higher rainforest canopy, which combined with the 40m Skywalk Cantilever is the longest canopy walk in South East QLD.

Every visitor does the walk at his own speed. You don't need to rush and can stay as long as you want admiring the beautiful nature. There are signs indicating the path to follow and also the name of the plants and animals you might see.

When you visit the park, be sure to bring your camera with you and wear comfy shoes. Although the path is very good, you might need snickers.

There is a cafeteria and shop at the entrance, but you can bring your own snacks and water. Bring a jacket just in case it gets a bit chilly and keep your eyes open to enjoy all what the nature can offer to you.

this guy bought a property in the forest, cut open spaces for walkways and charges $20 for people to walk through!!! No animals, no info, a short metalic bridge and then just walking aroind the property. What a joke. If you want to do bush walking, just walk in the reserve next to his property. I can't beleive that they allowed him to do this. even if it was free i wouldn't have done his walk, because there is nothing to it( besides the 100 metres bridge he made. Most expensive toll road in the planet!!!
