 Wonderful luxury hotel in heart of Old City of Damascus Mar 06, 2008
The Talisman Hotel located at 116 Tal El-Hijara Street in the heart of the Old City of Damascus is a dream! Built in a restored 19th century mansion, the rooms surround a glorious pool in a courtyard painted in vibrant colors. Breafkast is served either by the pool or in the small dining room off of reception. The room are elaborate and tasteful with plasma TV's, hard wood floors, sofas, textiles and ceramics. It's a stunning place! Rooms cost around $225/night, but are well worth it for pampering after some arduous traveling!
