A nice change from desert view! Apr 24, 2009
Abra - Arabic word for small boat. They use Abra as a public transportation to cross Dubai creek which divides Dubai.
The nearest abra station from Al Ghubaiba bus station will be in Bur-Dubai Area. Take a look at Dubai map and you will be able to find the station quite easily.
We will then wait for the Abra to come and pay the ticket on the boat - cost 2 dhs (0.75 USD).
It was quite an experience - a different one from a flashy Dubai.
