Taki Sushi New York Reviews
You'd have better luck eating some where else Jun 26, 2010
I wandered away from Times Square to find a sushi restaurant that wasn't super crowded or too uppity. I wandered upstairs into Taki Sushi. It was nothing special.
I must be a soft walker. I climbed up a flight of stairs and stood in front of the desk to be addressed and seated. On my right, there were at least 4 people who were seated with their backs towards me eating their dinner and 1 fella on my left who was facing me, but it took him quite a long time to look up. He saw me first and then told someone on my left I was there. I didn't want to do the perverbial throat clearing announcement that I was standing there because I was curious to see how long it would take them to notice I was standing there.
It had a basic layout, the service was so so for it being quite empty on a Friday night in NY, but the food was well-presented.
If you happended to be in this neck of the woods, you could probably find somewhere else to eat without bothering to go here.
