Takamatsu Japanese/ Korean

I decided I wanted something different: after almost a year of driving past the Japanese/ Korean restaurant I found an excuse to go dinning there when my Canadian friend Mike decided to visit me in Tucson. The restaurant is warm and cozy, divided into two sections one exclusively for the teppan Yaki table and groups of 6 or more per table.

We sat at the table where the Teppan Yaki table show was performed by a very competent server with a welcoming smile. We order three meats including chicken, pork and beef (please do not order this unless you are really hungry and there is more than 3 of you). We started with appetizers including spring roles and crab cakes. They have a great sushi platter too.
The process of preparation was very intriguing, the meats freshly cut and the vegetables looked like they were right from the garden. A fine diner it was, a must try if you are ever in Tucson
