I went to Taiwan with 11 other students and 3 faculty from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. We participated in a program, which students from National Taiwan University hosted. During my week there we toured Taipei and many national and local eco-parks.

All pictures I've uploaded before are my friend Linda's taken with her digital. These are mine. I finally took time and went to the shop to have my film rolls developed...This is what New Zealand was to me, the little I've seen, the plenty I will remember...

Actually it took time a while ago. It was before my dearest friend Anna going back to Russia for summer vacation. We were both born in July so we decided to go to FuLong beach at the north east coast to celebrate our birthdays- eventhough there's still a few days away. Spent all day on the beach, playing volleyball in the water, having red wine and cheese- tried to be a lit bit fancy;) This is about the finest day I had on the beach this year- since I cannot go to Orchid Island in September.

Taiwan is a sweet potato-shaped island near Batanes, the upper-most island of the Philippines. It is also an economic power in Asia. Taiwan hasn’t yet made it to the "top-to-visit" place, but it's more of not quite knowing what this country can offer to you.
After seeing the Taipei 101 (currently the tallest building in the world), take a train and discover the country-side. The country is also abundant in natural resources like stunning formation of mountains and rivers.
