Taigh an Uilt Bed and Breakfast Portree Reviews

Taigh an Uilt is a bed and breakfast run Kath and Mike, on the main road from the Kyle of Lochalshe bridge into Broadford towards Portree.

The rooms are nicely decorated, spotlessly clean and breakfast is fantastic. It is a tiny little family run affair, so I guess if you were going to be out late you would need to warn Kath and come to some sort of deal about locking up, but we were tired so it wasn't a problem.

The setting is nice and the location is good. Rooms cost £25 per person (July 2010).

Sounds to me like a place worth knowing.

Well, there were literally no hotels, but it was fine, really. The b&b we stayed in in Durness was even better and that landlady recommended restaurants and was totally lovely. I'd normally agree, but this trip the b&bs were way nicer than the hotels!
