Tafon Ton Vasileon - more commonly referred to as the Tombs of the Kings, is a large open site of over a hundred tombs of the noble families of Cyprus. Constructed around the third century BC, the tombs are an exciting place to explore, and are located very close the centre of town - a short bus ride (or if you are fit and like the heat, hike) from the harbour.
You can climb in and explore the tombs - but the entrances can be a bit steep, so sensible footwear is advisable. You can also take in some of the stunning vistas of the coast and town.
