TPC Sawgrass Golf Course Reviews - Ponte Vedra

TPC Sawgrass, located near Jacksonville Florida, is the official PGA course where the pros play every year at the Player's Championship. It is also a public course that anyone can play...if they can pay! Green fees are very high! The first time you play you are awarded an associate membership for one year. But it costs 450USD for that first round. Rounds after that are cheaper, but rates are still around 150USD for green fees during the slow season. I was able to play a round for a reduced price because I worked for the Chamber of Commerce and Daytona Hotel Association.
The grounds are meticulously kept, as are the courses. There are two courses...the Stadium course and the Dye's Valley Courses. The Stadium course is the famous one that has the most photographed green in all of golf...the 17th island green. If you think it looks pretty in pictures, try standing at the tee! Very intimidating!
If I ever win the lottery, I will play here again.
