THE HIGH ROCKS – Tunbridge Wells

A short distance away from Tunbridge Wells, down a country lane, Giusseppe's is part of the High Rocks complex, with ample woodland and stunning country views.
I was instantly captivated by how beautiful the whole setting was, a deceptively large country cottage with four function rooms in addition to the main restaurant.
As soon as I arrived, I was taken by surprise by the friendliness of the waiters; they spoke to me as if they have known me their whole life and it simply made me feel... like being home.
The food was delicious and beside the a la carte menu, they also have a set lunch menu but do not attempt to go there on a Sunday without a booking!
During the meal I was pleasantly surprised by a steam train going literally past the window- I was told that brides or their wedding parties can arrive by steam train, in a specially reserved carriage. What a way to arrive to your wedding!
It was my first visit and now I have discovered this gem I will go back, there so much to do, from Salsa evenings, Jazz concerts, even rock climbing- I don't think you could ever get bored there!
