We booked a place at Tat Guesthouse, but the tuk-tuk driver who picked us up from the guesthouse brought us to Tat Too instead, saying the owner had rooms for us there. It felt a bit dodgy, but we changed our minds when we saw the rooms - THEY ARE HUGE :D

The guesthouse looks a bit dodgy when you go in, kinda dim reception area and the stairs and corridors to get to the rooms are also not too great. But really, the size and cleanliness of the rooms totally makes up for it! A double room had two beds, each bed was queen-sized. The en suite toilet was also large and clean. There was also an option for a/c but the fan was good enough as the room was very airy.

The staff are also really nice and accommodating!
1. We originally booked 3 rooms, but seeing how huge the beds were we decided to take only 2. The owner didn't seem too enthused about this arrangement but we managed to settle it quickly and pleasantly by paying an extra fee for the additional people bunking in.

2. Certain light switches were not working in our rooms. They got around to fixing it immediately.

3. They helped us book a coach to get to Siem Reap for a really good price! Cheaper than what we saw online. The coach wasn't the cleanest thing around but it was decent and very convenient to have a smaller bus pick us up from the guesthouse to the bus station in the city.

The guesthouse is also walking distance from a supermarket (convenient!) and also a slightly walking distance from the Tuol Sleng genocide museum. Might need some map navigating for the latter, but it was a worthwhile effort since you also get to explore the neighbourhood that way.
