TAM Airlines Reviews
Brazilian Airlines with Brazilian flavor - TAM Airlines Feb 24, 2009
I have flown with them just 2 times, actually it was one with a layover, but 1st part was domestic (Rio - Manaus) and 2nd was international (Manaus - Caracas Venezuela).
Here are the things I remember the most about them: -what impressed me the most was the music. While we were boarding the plane, we were listening to nice Bossa Nova, sweet! -the crew was really friendly. They give you candies while you are sitting down, so you can just relax. -they don't charge for baggage and give you free food. -the planes were comfortable. I was able to sleep good, hehe. -people working in the counters are helpful too. -they just started to fly to Peru. Since the moment you board the plane you feel the Brazilian friendship :) |

…It was a bit harder to figure out
where to check in my luggage, but through frantic traveler's sign
language, I made it to the Tam Airlines domestic flights check in. I
also unwittingly recieved my first Brazilian Portuguese diction
lessons. Apparently an "m" following a vowel is like a nasal French
sound so Tam is pronounced more like "Tan". Going through security was
so easy that it made me feel… First Impressions of Brazil |

We were supposed to fly now with LAN, a Peruvian airline which cooperated with TAM. Our 4th airline on this trip. And the last one if we arrive well. We all felt tired, not really happy that we had to absolve another 5 hours flight, but hey...afterwards we would finally reach our goal...Lima… Long long flight – part 2. |
