Sze Si Ya Temple Kuala Lumpur Reviews
Simple, but very cozy chinese temple Jun 01, 2011
The third temple of the day Karena and I visited and also on my list of places to visit in Kuala Lumpur, was the Sze Si Ya Temple.
Located across the street from the Sri Maha Mariamman Temple, this temple looked pretty simple compared to the Chan See Shu Yuen Temple we had visited earlier on the day, but also very cozy.
The Toaist temple was founded and built in 1864 and is decorated with all kind sof colourful statues, carvings, figurines and shrines. It's pretty compact, but that what it very cozy in my opinion.
For 10 MYR/RM (around 2 euro or around 3 US dollars) Karena both purchased an inscent ring and wrote a wish on it for good luck.
This temple is certainly worth a visit, however the inscent smell and smoke can be a problem for those with breathing problems like asthma.
Part of the list What to see and do in Malaysia
