Hi everyone, we went to the Ice Bar on Sunday Evening, was a very
strange experience. The cost was $30, they only allowed small groups of
people for 30 minute periods, in the price we got a free cocktail and
if you wanted you could eat your glass, i had a few bites and had
enough, lol.

Unfortunately, I did not discover the glory of TravBuddy until months after my trip to Australia. Still, the events are fresh in my mind and could definitely be used by many of you who wish to travel to such a lush country in the future.
When the majority of people think of Australia they either …

There is not much to tell in this entry. I flew Qantas business class from Hobart to Sydney, then collected my baggage from the carousel and rechecked for my Jetstar flight to Maroochydore (Sunshine Coast). I love flying over Sydney, I don’t think there is a more beautiful sight from the…

Wow... It was both amazing and scarry... I had never seen a dust storm before, and seeing it in a town like Sydney just made it unreal. It looked like apocalypse, we could not see few meters away and it was so red! Incredible! I really wondered what was going on when I woke up and saw that scenery …

For my last day in Sydney, I was contemplating a few options. One being the wildlife park, one being the aquarium, or one being lazy and laying on the beach. Sunday night, me, Mike and Anton decided to make it a beach day.
For anyone travelling in Sydney, the best way to get around is to buy a ti…

Our last day in Sydney was as well spent as all the others before them. In the morning we left our hostel without breakfast. Reason: we managed to get into the ‘breakfast with koala’s’ special in Sydney’s Wildlife World. J
We were allowed to be present when the koala’s got their …

I'm current in Sydney, I've have been here for about 4-5 months working hard and saving some cash.
The time is quickly approaching where I'll be hitting the road again and heading to New Zealand and then onto South America!
Time is flying by at the moment and there is much to get my head round be…

Magnet To The Professionally Dull
I don’t believe in God, Cosmology, or Destiny. Which is fortunate for each of these Entities because if I did I’d have some serious beef with them. Why is it that whatever I do in life, wherever I go, that I must always end up befriending Accountants, Financi…

Coming off the flight I had to keep my adrenaline in check. Knowing I probably had about an hour before I'd make it through the final arrival gates and see my sisters I was trying hard to swallow the butterflies in my chest.
Waiting in the long queues at customs I decided to see if m…

Here are some impressions of my time in Sydney from 21 June - 08 July 2005
My first day in Australia. My first day in Sydney. My first day at the Pink House in Kings Cross. The receptionist Melinda greets me in her flower child way and let’s me know: “Don’t make so much noise when yo…
