Sydney Fish Market Aug 20, 2011
Fish Market was basically a complex consisted of seafood restaurants and (of course) fish market. Some places serve both the ready seafood meal and sell the raw fish. Sashimi bars exist in almost all the shops. It’s really a heaven for seafood lovers. There are few shops selling fruits, yoghurts, sweets, bakery, and ice cream. Besides eateries and seafood trading, they also hold seafood cullinary school. The official website is :

There are too many seafood restaurants, all looked delicious and tempting. At the end we chose to eat at Nicholas Seafood near the end of the building complex. Besides the nice view to the harbor (and even can have a glimpse of the Harbor Bridge), the continuous noise of seagulls keep the visitors company. Just beware not to feed them, as they will attack the table in groups…

Best Seafood In Sydney Aug 21, 2011
The Sydney Fish Markets has always been a favourite place to visit for me.

WIth many different vendors, the choice of seafood and other delicacies is endless.

You can purchase fresh oysters being cleaned in front of your eyes. Tuna, salmon and swordfish sashimi is another favourite as well as fresh cooked prawns.

There is also a variety of store selling cooked and fried seafood of all sorts.

The prices are affordable and a variety of all types of seafood is available to buy to take home for later.

At the end of the market hall there is a lovely fruit and vegetable market as well as a stand that sells white and milk chocolate dipped strawberries. A must!
