I gotta say it was brilliant, would thoroughly recommend it.

Facilitie's include a pool, sauna and bbq area on the roof as well as a mini cinema and recreation area on the lower level.

Very clean with two kitchens and a large dining area.

Staff aren't overly friendly but they do their job with efficiency.

The location is excellent and while its not the cheapest place to stay it is money well spent.

I spent a week at this hostel and would stay here again when I go back. The staff was great, full of knowledge and made my visit wonderful. I had a private room that I shared with my friend. We had our own bathroom and 2 beds. There is a pool, internet cafe, entertainment room (pool table and games), TV room, full kitchen, and bar (Scubar). The location is awesome. Right next to Central station makes traveling outside of the city easy.

I have sent several of my friends to stay here and they have loved every minute of it.

If your traveling to Sydney and are looking for a place to stay that is affordable, safe, and clean, stay here!

Well, tonight is my very last night in the fantastic Sydney Central YHA. I've had a fairly restful time here, I went off and saw the Opera House and Harbour Bridge of course but not much else! I've fully equipped myself for chilly New Zealand with half a dozen pairs of socks, a second… Socks at the ready

If you go to Sydney stay at Sydney Central YHA! It's awesome. So clean. I went to my room then went downstairs and bought some internet. As I was walking away someone asked me if I was from Vancouver(I had a canucks shirt on) and we got to talking and then… Yay Sydney!

I first tried the big Central YHA (the one with it's own cinema) but it was fully booked. The guy did a quick check and said there were beds available at the Railway YHA, in Railway Square just up the road. I sauntered along, booked into a room, and braced… Into The Blue
