Swissotel Nai Lert Park Bangkok Hotel Reviews

Experience Bangkok Mar 20, 2011
The hotel located near the Sky train in Bangkok. I suggest you should take the sky train if you don’t wanna get stuck in the traffic.

The decoration of the hotel look a bit….Japanese style with a small lake for carps (the big red ones). And some small little temples (very small) around it. When u get into the room and open the window, u will feel like being lost in a…jungle. I think that’s why the hotel has mosquito. Not much though. =)

Like other 5-star-hotels, this one is quiet. Super quiet. And nice decoration of course. Thing that I like the most of this hotel is foods. Breakfast and lunch. They have so many things to serve with lots of cakes, juices, typical asian foods, and fruits. If u sit there around 10:30, which is the time for them to clean up breakfast and prepare to serve lunch, u will see hundreds of cakes, from strawberry, cheery to chocolate, many flavors, many colors, lots of sizes. Yummy!

About the “jungle” that covers the hotel. Just spectacular! They built it with waterfalls, lakes and…swimming pool. I saw the rock near the mini-waterfalls, they said if u touch it, u and ur partner can be happy forever after (I don’t know how many percent of that, is true ^^). You can actually be lazy there whole day listening to the water falls and the trees moving.

Im sure u know that BKK is a great place for shopping with many malls, shops,…you can bargain at some places, some can not. The MBK may be the biggest mall in BKK at that time and we actually had to bargain a lot. I bought a pair of shoes there, high heels, very nice and it cost me 10$. So cheap.

You can find some places that serve Japanese foods inside the malls. You can sit there, face to face with the Chef cook and look at how he cooks ur food and hands it to you when its done. Very interesting and cheap.

I also visited one place for the sexy show. I have heard lots of story about that so I wanted to see. Just one time and I swear to myself that im not gonna watch that again. If u wanna watch it for the first time, prepare urself that its shocking and the beer aint cheap, the girls gonna ask u for some beers as well. They will try to get u drink as much beer as they can. And u have to feel comfortable sitting there and see many losers come there to get girls too. I couldn’t stand that.

I think Bangkok is a nice place for everybody to spend few days holiday. Nice town, friendly people, they smile to you all the time. Everybody tried to talk to me in Thai, they thought I was a Thai girl. There was a police officer rushing to me while I was crossing the flyover to the other side of the road. He was yelling in Thai, hands up and waving, seemed very….emergency. when he reached me, I said im not Thai and he looked surprise, spoke to me in English and explained that I needed to stop right there because the King is coming. I thought I could take a look at the King and imagined he sitting inside a…royal truck but he actually inside a limousine car. And it was going very fast. Nobody moved an inch, even the tourists. Nice experience in BKK!

Affordable luxury hotel in Bangkok Nov 29, 2010
The Swissotel Nai Lert Park is a nice hotel in BKK. It's off centered but has the advantage to be pretty quiet. It's close to some ambassades.

The rooms are nicely furnished and big. Beds are really comfortable.

The gardens are really beautiful. I didn't use the nice outside spool because it was raining when I was there. The spa is nice.

There's a nice bakery in the hotel!

I didn't use the restaurants (I manly ate in town and in the streets).

Wondeful stay at the Swissotel in Bangkok Dec 31, 2009
The Swissotel Nai Lert Park in Bangkok is one of the best choices to stay while in Bangkok.

The location is just perfect, as it is in the area of the Embassies ( USA , Switzerland, etc ) and just 5 minutes walk to the metro station. In 10 minutes you can get the main shopping centers area.

Inside the Hotel is a huge tropical garden and a great swimming pool, which I used every night !! Really relaxing.

There is a Thai show in the Lobby at nights. The breakfast has a good variety of choices, kind of international options.

There is an esxellent turist desk in the lobby and they can arrange any day trip that you desire ( Floating Market, etc ).

Decoration in the rooms is Thai style and are really comfortable.

If you stay here you will have a great relaxing time !!
