Swim with Dolphins Aug 18, 2011
I know that swimming with dolphins in captivity doesn't appeal to everyone, and others actually consider it cruel...this was my opinion at first when my friend suggested it.

However, we went along to review the place and see what we thought about it and we were pleasantly surprised. The dolphins here are kept in sea water in pens cordoned off at the shore, and are very well looked after. In fact they are so well looked after that they are breading, which is apparently a really positive sign for dolphins in captivity, and a sure sign that they are happy creatures.

The location is along the south west coast. A large complex with a gift shop, and an Avery, and viewing benches for friends and family to watch the sessions. It's well set up and the staff are friendly. It does have that Caribbean laid back attitude but it was thoroughly enjoyable.

When we went we had taken advantage of a discount two for one session so it worked out cheap, i hear they do this regularly, so ask around.

Facilities were good, toilets clean, they photography the session and film it too and there is an option to buy these at the end - or at least have a good giggle!

Very enjoyable day for all ages, highly recommended!
