i slept in micki's house and stayed for one night, and he promised me to show his city - malmo. i was so tired from the long train ride without enough sleep, and the day i arrived and in the evening - vanessa, kim and friends and me went to a bar and went home at 3 am, so i fell asleep so deep and fast.when i woke up, he was already preparing breakfast for us - bacon, eggs, carrot juice, and bread :) he was so nice! :) yesterday when we were driving back to malmo from kaseberga, i was so quie...

Today, we were using a different route to Goteborg. This time through the mountains and along lakes. I think Sweden is very beautiful after all. But still I haven't seen the famous blonde women. Or am I confused with Norway?
In Goteborg we had planty of time to shop so I did! I bought new summer-dresses, some t-shirts, more shirts but no shoes. I know, I never went somewhere without buying shoes...I really don't know why I didn't. Maybe I was still a bit stressed.
The b...

It is my last night in umeå. my bags are packed more or less and my room is cleaned. it's hard to believe that it's the end of a journey that i've dreamt about for years and took months to plan. being in sweden has made me poorer than ever but every krona was worth it. i've
made friends from all over the world and learned so many things about
other people and cultures. it's a sad and exciting time. the past few
weeks have been cherished like every day was the last day. any amount
of ...

My last day in Stockholm. I really enjoyed my stay but working that much - and being on your own at the same time - is quite hard for that many days in a row. Would might like to move to Stockholm for a periode - I've always loved Sweden - but at this time I was happy that I'd soon be home in Copenhagen. Slept 'til 8 AM, got down for breakfast and went to Stockholm Castle to meet up with my Swedish/Swizz friend. Today Swedens Princess Madeleine turned 25 years old - and my last assignment on ...

Tomorrow I'm leaving heading North, picking up Sofie in Antwerp on the way to Sweden, then from 19th July from Netherlands with Ineke to Portugal, so much fun to be had, so many roads and kilometers to be covered.

Winter is Storliens most active season. The impressing countryside provides excellent opportunities to combine down hill and crosscountry skiing.
In autumn the mountains invite you to mountain climbing.

In wintertime the days seems short in Northern Europe and especially in Norway, because of late sunrise and the early sunset.
In November the sun rise about 08.00 and set about 16.00, and in December the sunrise is as late as 09.00 and sunset as early as 14.30.
In the land of the Vikings, we enjoy and celebrate the sun. We have the shortest day 22 of December and the longest 21 of June.
As the time between su...

Ja volim more. Volim i brodove.

ok well, the snowmobiling tour was called the northern lights tour, let me just say that i had more chance of seeing aliens than the northern lights, hahahah but i did manage to see a slide show before we went out which almost compensated for not been able to the the borealis,NOT! all the same it was very cool! it lasted about 5 hours racing through the dark snowy forests, unfortunately i kept getting stuck behind this couple who were about 40 going on 90,and their average speed was about 17km p...

The wind assaulted us the moment we stepped outside the hotel lobby. Jodie’s hair flew around her head in crazy circles. “Bloody Hell!” I shouted above the melee. “I’m glad we didn’t come in winter!”
Regardless of the breeze, Stockholm looked remarkably pretty from our viewpoint overlooking the water’s edge. Buildings of every colour lined the edge of Gamla Stan, the old town, and beyond it, the higher elevated district of Södermalm looked just as fine. Regarded as o...

After a night of drinking, I woke up later than I was supposed (what a shocker). My goal for the day was to see Gamla Stan(Old City) and Vasa Museet, the Swedish vessel that sank in 1628, they found it after 300 years underwater...
Old Town is gorgeous, very well kept up and really gives off a feeling you are more in Eastern Europe than Scandinavia (mostly because the other countries are no comparison to Stockholm). Daniel, Max, and I went to the Royal Palace a...
