Strange and welcoming Feb 23, 2010
We stumbled upon this place as we were in that 'right next place we pass we'll eat in' mood.

It's a strange little cafe with a mix of Irish come Jamaican decor, playing music by the Spice Girls through to Stevie Wonder!

The choice of food is Súpa í Brauði (Soup in Bread) or well that’s it, despite there being a menu. It comes in a hollowed out bread loaf and was described as being meat, who knows what type but I think I tasted chicken, bacon, beef and lamb at some point. It was really good especially when followed by a ice cold Polar Beer.

The staff are very friendly and speak good English making this a very cosy bar come cafe to relax in. There is also a large selecting of special coffees, most of which contain alcohol and taste amazing!
