Suva is the capital of Fiji. It is like any "big" city: busy, lots of traffic, McDonald's (haha). I think many tourists don't even go to this side of Viti Levu, but there is actually lots to be seen and done! You can climb to the top of Mt. Korobobo and see all of Suva below, go to Colo-I-Suva Forest Park which is filled with trails and waterfalls (I've been advised not to go into alone). In Suva there are lots of shops and restaurants but everything is closed on Sundays. It is also home to the University of the South Pacific - which hosts students from every Pacific island. It is a diverse, beautiful city if you spend any time there. I also recommend Singh's House of Curry =)
