Sushi Siam North Bay Village Reviews
lacking service, average food Nov 02, 2012
Yesterday I had a late lunch, it was almost 3 P.M.
The reason why I went to a restaurant, is because it was my last meal with my boyfriend for a while, who left Miami last night.
As I don't like eating meat and he know I love sushi, he took me there.
I chose from the lunch menu, he out of the regular one.
We were the only ones in the restaurant (doh, at that time...)
I took the number 8# combo, although it is with chicken. But I know my boyfriend eats it in the end anyway hahaha.
Further on we ordered the Vulcano roll and he ordered a baked rice plate with shrimp and porc.
As a starter we got a chicken soup and mini veggie egg roll.
We ordered the pasteries of which I don't remember the name. It is filled with some chicken past.
The food came quickly.
The soup was good and the egg roll too.
My boyfriend's rice dish was good too.
The volcano roll was a big disappointment, also because this is one we always take so we can compare well.
My combo was some deep fried fish sticks, white rice and overly cooked chicken. Overall average to low quality food, honestly.
When we were finished, nobody was in the restaurant! We wanted to leave but all staff disappeared.
After a while we heard some noise and went asking there for our check.
The check was kinda surprise too hehe :) It was about 50$, which is a lot if you can go to Sakura further on for an all you can eat lunch for 15$ and the place there looks fancy and has excellent serving.
So Siam will stay with one time only.
