Easily one of the best sushi places in Los Angeles - and there are quite a few good ones out here!! It's a nice combination of good quality, unique "fusion" ingredients in the least detrimental sense of the word, and a really posh atmosphere.
Sushi Roku is tucked away on a side street behind Colorado, next to Gordon Biersch and some other retail places. My recommendations belong to the appetizer list, where the chef seems to have a full range of creative license. If you're doing sushi a la carte, I'd recommend the tuna and the sweet shrimp. I had my first sweet shrimp experience here, and it's not something I'll soon forget! Expensive, but well worth it. Service is excellent, and the manager Brian is a darling!
