The Seychelles is so incredibly amazing. It was very safe and the people were very nice. The weather was hot but comfortable. You can drink the water right from the tap and the cooking is delicious. There are no predatory animals on land whatsoever! This would be a great place to travel if you aren't a seasoned traveller, are going alone or with small children.

The only warnings I have are to not exchange money with anyone on the street (they will ask you), as it is illegal. Go to the bank. If you go swimming (and you will), watch out for teeny tiny jellyfish you can barely see. They sting - but it's not too bad unless a bunch of them get you at once! Fresh veggies are hard to come by, but fruit is a plenty! Take along your vitamins.

Accomodations are very expensive here. I recommend staying in a B&B or self-catering place. You won't want to spend much time in your room anyway. We did all our own cooking. Groceries were not very costly. Cabs are a decent price but rent bicycles when you can. Nothing is too far away really.

You will really enjoy yourself here! We especially enjoyed Praslin
Mahé
La Digue
