Supetar Vacation Guide

Supetar is the largest town on the north side of the Dalmatian island of Brač located in the Adriatic Sea.

Supetar takes its name from Saint Peter, which is the name's English translation. The official language is Croatian, however most inhabitants also speak English, Italian and German because knwoledge of these languages aids tourisits that arrive there in the summertime.

Being the main city on the island where the ferries come and go from Split to drop off tourists as well as domestic peoples of the area that might've visited Split. Because Supetar is so close to Split, the ferry ride takes a mere 45 minute.

It currently is the capital of Island Brac, with a population of about 3,062.
