 A Good Motel To Stay When on the Road Dec 01, 2006
Stayed at this Super 8 about 2 times when on brief weekend road trip to Winnipeg Manitoba.
It is very easy to find, just a 2 minute drive off main hwy and you can spot it easily. The parking is very good and you get your own plug in to use for winter time. Check in was very fast and simple, got to my room right away. Rooms were nice and big, simple bed and table and TV. Quite good and interesting. Very clean and comfortable. Had good heat was provided and could use any time. Only downside was morning start up breakfast was just dried out old buns and some instand coffee. People off the street were coming here eating the food before the paying customer guests got a chance at it. Enforcement needs to be set in for that matter. Overall a good motel, if your staying only a short time. Close to eating places and a Walmart is close by. I recommend for anyone looking for a low price place to stay while in Winnipeg.  Very run down-Not well managed Nov 04, 2008
I used to stay at this motel when it was a Super 8 and it was enjoyable. Now that it is Motel One it is very dirty the staff is very unprofessional and downright rude. Management is non-exixtent or there would be changes. This Motel is not worth t...read entire review at TravelPost.com

Fast becoming a Dive and place to avoid Nov 04, 2008
Please read carefully the review entitled Great stay, great staff as it states that this Motel is on PORTAGE Avenue, which it IS NOT. It is on Niakwa Ave therefore I think the well intention ladies gave this rating to the wrong Motel. I agree with...read entire review at TravelPost.com

Very dirty place Oct 18, 2008
After arriving late we secured 2 rooms, once inside we found pubic hair in the tubs of both rooms, the air conditioners were filthy with tha black dust on the screens, the floors looked like they had never been cleaned since they was put in. The ...read entire review at TravelPost.com

 Great Staff, great stay Sep 14, 2007
The service was very good and the room was clean and comfortable. They did have a slight "problem" with coffee and rolls running out,but it was "fixed" in a few minutes.
