This hotel is located just off 28th St. in Grand Rapids, MI which gives it a good location. Unlike the Red Roof Inn this hotel is a bit further from the I-96 freeway which cuts down on the noise. I believe this property was previously an Excel hotel.

Check-in was quick and easy as I had reserved online previously. Room was large and adequate. They provide free wireless internet and I made use of the complimentary continental breakfast which was very basic and not impressive though at least it was stocked and available. I paid ~$50 for one night which for the area is budget.
