Sungai Lembing Mining Restaurant Reviews
Cater for Pork, Duck and Chicken Jul 24, 2016
Housed on the ground floor of an old wooden row house, this restaurant is the most visited dine in place is Sungai Lembing town, at least based on my assessment during my two day stay on the area.
Though it was located on the backstreet, the restaurant is mostly visited by tourist and travelers. The floor is very spacious, but then it was always full. May I note that this is not halal restaurant, so all the customers are non - Muslims. Though they offered various menus, the rice paired with either chicken, duck or pork and vegetable soup is the one that tops the order list. I ordered a set of pork and I was satisfied with it. For the drinks, they offered the usual Malaysian “minum” (drinks) – Chinese tea hot or cold, coffee and milo hot or cold, (In Malaysia, it is normal that Milo is being paired even not in breakfast), barley juice (they call it bali), some sort of soft drinks in can, and the mostly ordered “teh-oh-ais-limau” (iced lemon tea).
So if you happens to be in Sungai Lembing, you may want to try this.
