Having a cup of coffee and a taste of Rock n' Roll May 27, 2012
Getting inside the infamous Sun Studio in Memphis where Rock n’ Roll starter can be a crowded experience because there is a huge turnover of people constantly walking in there to have a look and feel of the history. The building itself is a long but narrow brown colored brick house situated on a corner some 2 kilometers outside downtown Memphis.

When you enter the place you enter a small and crowded café where they sell all kinds of coffees, milkshakes and sodas but don’t expect to find beers there because they don’t have. They also have some brownies but the major turnover comes from souvenirs.

I found out that it was a great idea to wait until after a tour started to order something because you have the place almost to yourself afterwards. I ordered a café Latte and gave myself time to sit down and enjoy the place with all the memorabilia on the walls and look at the pictures of the stars in their early age hanging over the mixers. It was a great place to get away from the heat and just relax but the peace only lasted for a short while before the café stated to get filled up for the next tour.
