Nice, great pool - free shuttle to the Strip Jan 25, 2009
I stayed here just after it opened and before the golf course was complete.
At the time (2007) the city was booming and this room was over $150/night during the weekend. *Note, they now offer a free shuttle from the airport and to the strip, however, if coming from McCarren you must make a reservation for the shuttle before you arrive at the airport. They did not offer this when they first opened, but I'll bet they have a hard time filling the beautiful rooms right about now. The shuttle from the hotel to the Strip drops guests off at the Tropicana. This is a very large hotel and it is beautiful, comfortable, and clean. With rates advertised now for $47/night this would be an absolutely great deal in a beautiful location. It appears that the pool area has been redone already since it opened, but I've attached a photo of the original from our room.  Part of the MisAdventures in Las Vegas travel blog
