If you're in town any time between June 14th - Aug 16th, check out chicago summer dance in Grant park. Different types of music each night every Thurs-Sun. Beginning at 6pm, there is a free 1 hour dance lesson for whatever type of music is on the menu later that evening when a live band performs. It's free, and there are plenty of available dance partners who, like you, are there to dance and meet new people.
