Subway tickets Travel Reviews

Nov 25, 2007
When I was in Vienna Stefan told us to buy a subway ticket for a certain period of time instead of buying just independant tickets all the time. We bought a ticket wich was valid for 72 hours. It was very cheap it was just a little over 13 euro's and it allowed us to travel with all the different kinds of public transport within the city for 72 hours. We dont have anything like this in my country, if ur not a student its very expensive to travel by public transport. There are also options for a week and for 24 hours. Its very easy to get these tickets u can buy them in any station by machines. U have to activate them at a station where it gets stamped with the time and date of activation. Don't forget to do this since otherwise it won't be valid.
