Stuzzichino in Little Italy Travel Reviews

Jan 22, 2008
My friend Zoe and I had food cravings for our favourite meals: hers for Spaghetti Bolognese, mine for Saltimbocca. I was a bit strapped for cash so we wanted it to be cheap, but looking at a few of the menus along Lygon Street (Little Italy), many were not cooking it the traditional (or familiar way) with sage and proscuitto. It had to be perfect. After a once up and down of the competition, we settled on Stuzzichino. It had the smart look of a modern bar, alcoholic milshakes, happy hour plus a great cocktail list. The saltimbocca was one of the best I'd ever had with real veal (many in Lygon don't) and the bolognese was fantastic, really flavoursome and full of herbs. The service was also really friendly and helpful.
After a really rubbish day it just met our needs perfectly in every way, and what's more, the saltimbocca was the best priced on the street, and I'm sure tasted the best as well.

Great place, will be back.
