You could enrol for at least two of the classes at the Tibetan Library (between McLeod Ganj and Dharamsala) where you'll be allowed to stay at the Library student accommodation for a small fee. The only requirement is that you attend the classes which can be learning Tibetan language/philosophy etc, but the minimum stay is a month. But it is cheap.


The philosophy classes can save your life if you are struggling mentally - as long as you listen and absorb - they are soooo worth while!

Since then this former administrative centre of the Brits has become a centre for the study of Buddhism and Tibetan culture.
