 Jan 13, 2007You could enrol for at least two of the classes at the Tibetan Library (between McLeod Ganj and Dharamsala) where you'll be allowed to stay at the Library student accommodation for a small fee. The only requirement is that you attend the classes which can be learning Tibetan language/philosophy etc, but the minimum stay is a month. But it is cheap. The philosophy classes can save your life if you are struggling mentally - as long as you listen and absorb - they are soooo worth while! Take care, love Tracy x x x |

Since then this former administrative centre of the Brits has become a centre for the study of Buddhism and Tibetan culture. Refugees from Tibet continue to arrive in Dharamsala and the Tibetan Children Village (where I myself am sponsoring a 12 year old Tibetan girl) is filled with children that have been brought here by their parents, often crossing the Himalayas… Day 19: Manali to Dharamsala |
