Stuart's Hill - Water Tower
Stuart's Hill - Water Tower Utila Reviews
Water Tower vistas Jan 09, 2012
For the long time I did not have clue that this hill exist on the island at all. Water tower is very well hidden behind lust forest trees and only two little roads have access to the path that leads to the top.
One road includes jumping over the wooden gate and going through the barb wire and then trough some banana fields.
Other road is accessed if you turn right just before futball stadium and go to the end. Open the door freely and go right, uphill… Last time I went there we saw the snake that looked like boa, and one of the local guys said that it endemic spices and it can be found only on the Bay Islands.
From the water tower view is almost undisturbed and you can see the Utila town, swamps and savannas. Because it is so close to the town (no more than 15min walking), it is easy to access for sunsets and romantic getaways…
