Strong National Museum of Play Rochester Reviews
Jul 07, 2007
The Strong National Museum of Play is a museum based on the way people play and you can see, and play with, hundreds of games and toys.
There are a bunch of displays like old doll houses and barbies through the years, but the museum really shines with all of the toys you can play with. It really focuses on imagination and there are big ships and planes to play on, a replica of Sesame Street, a fake super market, things to draw and build, instruments to play and tons of other things. My friends went for three hours and didn't even get close to getting through everything. Also, the nationaltoy hall of fame is housed and displayed here.
It's great for kids and adults alike, I think it's impossible not to have fun here. It was only $9 for access to the whole museum and everything in it (except for the butterfly display...I'm not sure what that is/how much it costs).
