allright guys: something about probably the best food of the world.

When i walk through the medina of Fez i see a lot of people eat at typical tourist restaurants instead of having some streetfood. I understand that people have their doubts about the hygiene but i ate a lot on the street and never got sick.

Although the tourist restaurants have acceptable food and they are not expensive you can safe money and have a good culinary experience by having streetfood.

The most delicious sandwich i had in Fez fills the stomach, is healthy and costs less than 1 euro. It's an sandwich with a boiled egg, a cooked potato, some olives, red onion, salad of cucumber and tomato seasoned with cumin and if you like some hot spice.

it's also safe and good to try some kepabs or challenge yourself nd have a cooked sheep head. If you don't like it, no problem it's so cheap that is not a big waste if you don't finish it and try something else.

enjoy some of the marinated olives, dried fruits or a fresh cactus fruit

make sure that you buy some Ras el Hanout (spicemix)

Look at my review of the Djemaa el Fnaa for more pictures of Maroccan street food.
