Street signs in Italy Padova Reviews
You'll need a great sense of orientation Jun 23, 2010
Italy is no United States with respect to street signs. Actually I think signaling is even better in Mexico.
As soon as I arrived into Florence airport, I noticed there were no clear signs on how to get anywhere, it was even difficult to find the "information" stand as it was hidden in a corner, lol.
There are street signs missing in many places, and sometimes when you find an arrow or something indicating where you should go, something happens like the road splits and there is no sign on where you should follow next.
Maybe italian people is used to this, but I found it very difficult to move around even with the use of maps, lol.
The only exception is Venice, where even in little streets you can find signs to get to San Marco. :)
