Stralja Vacation Guide
Stralja is a beautiful little village, near Sliven and Yambol. The people are incredibly sweet, and are all primarily farmers. The village has lots of statues and monuments back from the communist occupation in a forgotten little park, most close to ruins, but a very interesting walk through history. If you ever take a train ride through Bulgaria, it will stop in Stralja 100%, as its one of the main train stops from Sofia to Burgas. Its only about 2 hours from Burgas and the coast, and the trip through the mountains to reach it is amazing. Its a great little town with warm people and interesting history.
