Stonehedge Gardens Hood River Reviews
The best outdoor dining in the Gorge Nov 19, 2015
Located on the outskirts of town, the setting is a wonderland of woods and terraces, peaceful and serene. The road that leads up is a gravel road, with plenty of potholes, and it’s next to a rock quarry. You kind of think you are not heading anywhere. You follow this road to the top where a beautiful home and gardens await.Gardens are private six-acre forest and restaurant. Restaurant located in a beautifully restored home in a private forest just a 1/2-mile from the Columbia River. The inside is lovely and elegant, with all the charm of years gone by. Very Romantic Indeed!
The food is pretty darned good, too. The menu varies from filet mignon to shrimp linguini, wild salmon, ravioli and lots more. There is also a nice variety of fine wines to taste and compliment your dinner. Stonehenge is a popular spot for a wedding and they cater.
Food is unique and wondeful. Price is a little high, but worth it....
Don't miss this restaurant. The grounds, food and service are terrific.
Friendly, wonderful, warm service
Plenty of parking space.
