A great restaurant anywhere, in Niagara-on-the-lake Apr 20, 2010
Located outside of downtown at a small corner mall, none the less it serves great food, boy the breads were SO good! and the Charcuterie plate of cured meats were delicious, even though I could do without the pate. The have an extensive local wine selection, which could be expensive, and even though we did not order the roast duck, the neighboring table had it and it looked great. My shepherd's pie of braised lamb was very tasty too. We were there early because we wanted to get to Niagara Falls at sunset, so the place was relatively quiet, and it's not exactly tourist season, but by the time we left, it was full! The service was crisp and good, and we very much enjoyed our experience and dinner there. Check their web site for current prices, if you have a couple of glasses of wine, your very good dinner for two would go over $100 CDN.
