Stone Hill Resort and Amsterdam Bar

We were the first people to stay here, ever. We happened to bump into a guy who worked there whilst on Koh Samui and he told us all about it, so after full moon party we turned up. The owner ( A Scottish guy and his wife) were not expecting us but let us stay anyway, on the condition we hid from his first "real" guests arriving in a few days. Amsterdam bar is pretty famous on KPG, at the top of a steep west facing hill it has undoubtably the best views of the sunset sinking into the sea. The individual bungalows are clean, big enough, with a nice outdoor veranda. Clean bathrooms with shower, friendly staff and a nightly sunset party complete the offerings. I will be back. The photo is of the sunset as seen from our room, the vuew from the bar is even better as it is RIGHT at the top of the hill/mountain!
