Stomping Grounds Beverage Company - Ames - TravBuddy

If I lived in Ames, I would probably spend a lot of time at Stomping Grounds. Not only is it a coffee shop that serves lots of different coffee drinks, such as the vanilla latte, mocha latte and many other variations, which they seem to be known for. But they also sell loose tea that you get in a little tea pot with a little asian cup. It's so cute and it makes having tea more of an experience, than just drinking tea out of a mug with a tea bag in it. Students seem to quite enjoy spending time at Stomping Grounds, not just for studying but also having a bite to eat as well as having a beer.
It also has more of an atmosphere than the average coffee shop. The walls are decorated with local artist's work. When I was there abstract paintings were on show. They also have a different brewing system were you can actually see the coffee dripping into your cup. The cups they had were also quite nice, real cups that is, not the paper cups you get in most coffee shops in Santa Barbara. They had a bit more character.
