Stockton Springs is a quiet little Maine town on US coastal RT1. It consists of one small town center containg the Post Office, A Town Hall, and a few Shops. The towns harbor is mostly used by comercial fishermen and has had a recent expansion done to its docks and a little park was put in.

Stockton Spings is home to one State Park named Fort Point State Park. There is a historic lighthouse thats sits here one oddity about the light house is that the tower is square but the staircase is spiral. Located at the mouth of the Penobscott river is was used to aid in shippments going to Bangor.

So upon arrival at the State Park I learned the road is closed during the winter.  So I parked at the gates got the dog out of the truck and we began our walk into the park.  The road still covered in quite a bit of snow made the walk slighty difficlut with a dog who loves to be right in front of you.  Once we got to the park though the grounds were virtually snow free and the walking around was much easier.  We made our way to the Bell Tower took some snapshots and then d...
