Steyr Vacation Guide
Steyr is a town with old history. Its also on of Austrias oldest industrial cities (which doesn't mean its dirty). Years ago cars were producted in Steyr. The Steyr 500 was wellkown in Austria and was similiar to the FIAT 500 which became a rebirth a few months ago.
In the recent years Steyr developed to a very importend producer of high quality car engines (for MAN, BMW and Mercedes).
Steyr is a nice town with a very old center - great if someone wants to see Austria from another side (and not just Vienna and Salzburg).

Even though I don't live in Steyr anymore and I do not plan to live there ever again I think it is a beautiful city with a lot of culture and history.
For me it was just too small. But I think it is defenetly worth a visit.

Austria is the most beautiful and historical country I've been in. When we went in the spring of 2006, we visited Steyr, Vienna, and Salzburg, The Lake District, Melk and other various little Skiing villages. The buildings were soo beautiful and different from what I was use to seeing, it made going back home to Canada a chore.
