Austria is the most beautiful and historical country I've been in. When we went in the spring of 2006, we visited Steyr, Vienna, and Salzburg, The Lake District, Melk and other various little Skiing villages. The buildings were soo beautiful and different from what I was use to seeing, it made going back home to Canada a chore.

Just a little blog where I ll collect all my Austrian short trips. The first one is Steyr. Now added, my 2 days hike into the Totes Gebirge (=death range).

I guess everyone needs to be a bit patriotic ... even though it's always good to get out of the country for some weeks :)

On the way to Bad Aussee we made a stopover in Steyr. Steyr is a very old city and has a beautiful little old town. So far I am living in Austria, in a small village called MOLLN. It isn't very exciting to live here, but growing up in a well sheltered place like this has also its good aspects!!! :)

After signing a new job contract, i had a month off before my new jobs started. I used the time to visit some friend in Australia. And when to some places I havent seen so far.
