Steuben's is a hip, retro style diner in Uptown Denver. The owners opened Steuben's designed after his uncle’s famous Boston restaurant. In Denver, restaurant makes its home in a converted auto body garage, complete with retro style booths and chrome accents. The food is great and somewhat unexpected. Plates such as lobster rolls, fried corn on the cob, and huge wedge salads complete the creative yet classic menu.

The retro cafe atmosphere is a great place to grab a cocktail before hitting the town. The drinks are simple and sophisticated for all palates. Steuben's also offers what is known as the Scorpion Bowl. This is dangerous yet delicious. Personally I think it is a great way to celebrate a birthday, graduation, or a Friday night :)

The eating experience is much like eating in a 1960's diner. The food is inexpensive, the wait staff is witty, and the decor and food is fun! If you're in a hurry, you can order from the uber cool grab-and-go section. I recommend enjoying a meal inside though. The wait can be a bit steep on the weekends, but I assure you it is well worth waiting.

The weekend brunch is fantastic. The "morning after crowd" frequents Steuben’s on Saturday and Sundays. I love the breakfast chile relleno. Steuben's though is well known for their fried chicken, brisket, and macaroni.

Regardless which meal you decide to enjoy at Steuben's I guarantee it will be delicious!
